THE FIRST DYNAMIC SYSTEM WHICH MAKES THE FRAME AND THE STRINGS INTERACT WHEN STRIKING THE BALL FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY

The frame is basically static and holds the driving force of the racquet - the strings - in place. Only some strings are dynamically active when struck by the ball. So efficiency is minimized. Babolat set out to design a racquet that will optimize the frame and string interaction that creates a technology that allows all the strings to work together to return more energy to the ball with every shot.

PULLEY FUNCTION

The WOOFER technology eliminates string lock-up, allowing the strings to move more freely than on conventional frames.
The whole surface area reacts on impact immediately...with the WOOFER, more strings work together when striking the ball. The strings are more interactive. This increases sweetspot size, off-center forgiveness and more absorbtion of the unwanted shock produced during ball impact.

PISTON FUNCTION

More string action = Increase in the Trampoline Effect. The piston function enables greater surface deformation on impact, delivering 10% more power and ensuring that the strings retain their energy for a longer time so it can be transferred to the ball during impact. The pistons act like a suspension system to dampen unwanted vibration.
